Comment on Target

Hectares of land cultivated increased steadily between 2017 and 2025, with the Feed Salone programme adding momentum to growth. GoSL’s overall target is 712,801 hectares by 2028. To achieve this target an annual increase of at least 5.7% is require. If the current annual increase of 7.4% is sustained, we forecast that the 2028 will be met.
