Comment on Target

Domestic mining revenues in Sierra Leone between 2017 and 2025 reflect a volatile but diversifying trend. Following declines between 2017 and 2022, collection rebounded due to Mines and Minerals Development in 2022. Nontax revenues (royalties and licences) hit $65m in 2026 while total domestic revenue is projected to reach $956m. The target to increase domestic mining revenue to 7.14% has not been met.
