The key achievements in road are the construction Bo-Jendema highway on the border with Liberia; the Songo-Mabang road; Lumley-Tokeh on course for completion. PPP reached for the construction of the Mabang- Moyamba road. Bo-Mattru Jong Road construction ongoing, ongoing Kailahun-Buedu road; ongoing construction work on the Kambia-Tomparie-Kamakwe road, ongoing road construction work to connect the district headquarter town of Koidu New Sembehun to the Guinea border. Bandajuma-Pujehun road built. Moyamba Junction-Moyamba town road completed. - SLMA trained and certified 500 local motorized vessels. - A steady flow of 2500 life jackets were distributed on an annual basis, to artisanal fisherfolks, local passenger vessels and crew. - Efforts started to domestic the SOLAS Convention setting the standard safety of life at sea with a law tabled in parliament. Sierra Leone also signed with the UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO) for the development of its hydrographic capacity Plan.
