Target description

As of late 2025, there was a significant shortfall in Sierra Leone's job creation targets, with the economy growing slowly amidst rising hardship. Only around 41,000 jobs are being created annually. Actual job growth, including both casual and formal, is not keeping pace with the necessary 75,000 jobs required annually to maintain employment ratios. (MTNDP 2024-2030. p.104)
